South Imperial Plantations Tour of Fort-de-France

Your day begins at Domaine de La Pagerie, the childhood home of Josephine de Beauharnais, wife of Napoleon Bonaparte and first Empress of France. As you walk through the old sugar plantation, you will visit a small museum and see period documents, paintings and furniture. At the Trois-Rivières distillery, you will learn the history of three centuries behind the estate while tasting its famous white and black rums.
