Overview of the tour in Kathmandu

Join our tour to Pokhara from Kathmandu and then visit the Muktinath, the best place for people who want to explore the ancient architectures along with scenic beauty and religious norms.
Muktinath, one of the main destinations of Hindus and Buddhists pilgrimages, is also known as the “Temple of salvation” and is situated at an altitude of 3710 meters. The region is very special for both Hindus and Buddhists. Hindus consider it as “Muktichetra”, whereas Buddhists believe that this place is where Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) meditated while on his way to Tibet. You can explore the temple of “God Vishnu” built in “Pagoda” style and 108 water sprouts located in the backyard of the temple where pilgrims take a ritual bath. Nearby, there is a temple called "Jwala Mai" where you can see the eternal blue flame. Here, in Kaligandaki river, were found the “Shaligrams” - fossilized shells that are considered to be the remains of lord “Vishnu” and are worshiped by “Vaishnavas”. This beautiful temple, we will enjoy, is located at the foot of the majestic Himalayas and you can have the unique opportunity to admire its breathtaking beauty.

Things to note

Itinerary -
Day 1 - Arrival in the Kathmandu [altitude 1340 m]
At Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu and outside airport our representative will pick up you with your name on the card and transfer to hotel and short briefing about program. Overnight stay is at the hotel.
Day 2 - Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu / B.
Visit Pashupatinath temple, BouddhanathStupa, Patan Durbar square and Swayambunathstupa and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 3 - Kathmandu to Pokhara / B.
Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara and visit around Phewa Lake in Pokhara and boating in lake.

Day 4 - Drive to Muktinath Temple / B.L.D
We fly to Jomsom and take a jeep adventure drive to Muktinath or hike to Mukinath, situated at a height of 3800 m. Our overnight stay is in Jomsom or Muktinath.

Day 5 - Drive back Pokhara / B.L
Early morning after praying in the temples and religious shrines at Muktinath, we drive back to Jomsom again we drive from Jomsom to Pokhara. On the way you can see the beautiful rivers, countryside Himalayas etc.

Day 6 - Drive back to Kathmandu / B.L.D
After breakfast take 25 minutes of scenic flight back to Kathmandu or 6 hours drive and in the evening join dinner program in Kathmandu.

Day 7 - Fly back Home / B
If you stay longer, you can consult us for short tours such as drive at National parks, rafting, mountain biking, Tibet, India or Bhutan tours etc.
