How to Find Us: Himalayan Java Coffee – Thamel Chowk
Address: Thamel Chowk, Kathmandu, Nepal Landmark: Located right at the heart of Thamel, the most popular tourist area in Kathmandu.
• From Durbar Marg (Kingsway): Walk or drive north toward Thamel. Once you enter Thamel through Thamel Marg, continue straight until you reach Thamel Chowk (the main intersection). Himalayan Java Coffee is right on the corner — you’ll see our warm wooden sign and cozy outdoor seating.
• From Garden of Dreams: Exit the garden and head into Thamel (about a 2-minute walk). Walk straight down the main Thamel road — our café is just ahead at the main junction.
• By Taxi: Ask the driver to drop you at Thamel Chowk — almost every taxi driver in Kathmandu knows this spot. Once you arrive, look for the Himalayan Java Coffee signboard on the corner.
What to Look For:
