Quito Tour: To the Middle of the World

Overview of the tour in Quito

Early in the morning we will visit the town of Calacalí, where the first monument to the Middle of the World is located, then we will visit the Pululahua Geobotanical Reserve from the entrance of the Ventanillas viewpoint where the Pululahua Crater with 4 km in diameter will be appreciated. It is currently inactive and inhabited, where we can make a descent of approximately 1 hour, then by vehicle we will go to the Catequilla hill where the equinoctial line passes exactly and from here we will have a panoramic view of the town, after this visit we will go to taste a typical lunch and in this place we will observe hummingbirds, finally we will enter the Middle of the World City with a FULL PASS entrance, where we will visit several museums and places.
Information will be provided throughout the tour, legends, anecdotes and history of the place will be told.

On arrival

Public transport: get on the METROBUS and go to the last stop in the north called "LA OFELIA", at this station you take an integrated bus to the Middle of the World (note that on the front there is a plaque that says KARTÓDROMO, this bus integrated will leave you at a stop in front of the UNASUR Headquarters Building.
Taxi: give directions or directions to the driver.
Foot: there is no possibility of going on foot since the walking time would be between 2 or 3 hours depending on your physical condition.

Things to note

Recommendations, solar blocker, oyster bed, moisturizing liquid medicines (if necessary), clothes and shoes for excursions.
