Quito Free Tour: Huecas, Food & Chocolate Experience
Overview
“Quito Between Huecas & Chocolate” invites you to explore the city through its traditional eateries and creative food scene. Along the way, we visit beloved local huecas, small family-run spots where Ecuadorian culinary traditions come alive.
Taste iconic dishes such as mote con chicharrón, ceviche, encebollado, tigrillo, salchipapas, and a surprising ice cream with cheese, while discovering the stories behind each recipe and the families who preserve them. We also explore how local chefs are reinventing traditional flavors with a modern twist.
The experience includes stops at local social-impact stores like Salinerito and a premium Ecuadorian cacao tasting with Paccari Chocolate, known worldwide for its fine aroma cacao.
