We'll start with a brief description of the Inquisition and how the Palace where it resided changed from an inn to the National Theater after the Inquisition. The toponymic changes and their context. You'll also learn about expressions that were born with the Inquisition and public theaters in the 18th century.
Let's "travel back in time". I'll sing a fado about the old name of the street where the Public Theatres were located. At the end, you can enjoy a Port wine in the café where the poet Fernando Pessoa wrote poems while drinking his coffee. A tour in which you will learn more about how history brings routes to life and how spaces fulfill their function.
