Overview of the tour in Lisbon

We will start with a presentation of Lisbon, then explore the Bohemian neighborhood and its stories! We will head to the Chiado neighborhood, the Portuguese writers' neighborhood, passing by the most famous bookstore and the first coffee shop in the city!

I also passed by Carmo’s convent to learn about the history of the dictatorship and the 1755 earthquake that destroyed the city of Lisbon. We will go to the Baixa Chiado and learn about the stories of the neighborhood. We will also have a break to taste the famous pasties de nata and learn more about Portuguese gastronomy.

Also, we will pass by the São Domingos church, where the Easter massacre took place in the 16th century. We will go to Commerce Square and head to the oldest neighborhood in the city, Alfama! You will discover the stories of the neighborhood and viewpoints and take a break to taste the “ginjinha”.

We will head to the Graça neighborhood, where we will also learn about the neighborhood's history and visit one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the city! The last historic neighborhood is Mouraria, the birthplace of fado music, and we will also see a lot of street art!

On arrival

The meeting point will be at Luis de Camões Square. The guide will have a rainbow umbrella.
