Overview

Namaste! Come hungry to explore Kathmandu’s culinary wonders on an immersive walking tour led by a professional licensed Tour and Trekking Guide and certified Barista. Having explored the cuisines of India, Sri Lanka, China and Thailand, I bring a global perspective on hospitality and hygiene to every stop. I use this expertise to curate only the most exceptional eateries—hidden gems and centuries-old traditions you won’t find in any guidebook.

From the aromatic spices of Asan Bazaar to the soulful street food of Thamel, we prioritize quality and safety to ensure every bite is an authentic taste of Nepal. What sets this experience apart is the sincere connection we forge; guided by the philosophy of Atithi Devo Bhava (the guest is God), I share the deep stories of our local vendors and the "why" behind every recipe. Join me for a meaningful cultural exchange and a journey through the heart and soul of Kathmandu.

Things to note

Important Information for Guests

Dietary Requirements: Please inform me in advance if you are vegetarian, vegan or have any specific food allergies (especially nut or gluten allergies). While we visit authentic local spots, I can tailor the experience to ensure there is something delicious for everyone.

Health & Hygiene: Your safety is my priority. We only visit eateries that I have personally vetted for cleanliness and food quality. I recommend bringing your own hand sanitizer and a reusable water bottle. What to Wear: We will be walking through bustling markets and uneven streets. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress modestly (covering shoulders and knees) as we will pass by sacred temples and shrines.

Weather Policy: This tour runs rain or shine! Kathmandu’s weather can change quickly, so bringing a light rain jacket or an umbrella is always a good idea.

Local Etiquette: I will guide you on how to interact with local vendors and the proper way to eat certain traditional dishes. We follow the philosophy of Atithi Devo Bhava—treating you with the highest respect as our guest.
