Overview of the tour in Bogota

Among famous bossa nova, boleros, and salsa, the particular Latin jazz emerged. In Bogotá, jazz clubs appeared in order to establish the local scene.
As a result of the diverse cultural offering in the late sixties, jazz music was imposed in Bogotá. During that time, clubs such as Chez Dedy and Fredy's made their appearance to gather fellow jazz lovers. However, as most of the foreign music adopted by Latin America, jazz music was not entirely north American, but a hybrid of Latin rhythms and its own essence, making the sax a link between black American and Cuban musical traditions.
