The Original Free Craft Tour in the Villages around Antigua
Overview
We'll explore the colorful towns of San Juan del Obispo and San Pedro Las Huertas, near Antigua Guatemala. Please read the tour description carefully. The idea is for people to learn about the wine and cacao production process, jade, the history of my city, Antigua Guatemala, and many other things about Guatemala. It's not a "shopping" tour. While there are shops where you can buy cacao, wine, and jade, that's optional, and up to each person, the tour is a fun experience! Read carefully before booking. Thanks so much!
On arrival
Meeting point: in front of McDonald's Restaurant in Antigua Guatemala.
I'm wearing a green jade necklace, a cap, and my guide license. I'll be out and about. Please confirm your participation in advance. Thank you very much.
Things to note
Walkers are recommended to eat something hours before the tour, bring enough water, and a mosquito repellent, and most importantly, bring coins or small bills to pay for the "Chicken" bus, and bring a coat against the rain.
Departure is 1:15 pm. If you can't come on time, it's better to postpone it or do it another day, since out of respect for those who arrive on time, I can't start late, since it delays the rest of the group.
Comfortable shoes (waterproofing), an umbrella may be needed.
Raining season is from May to October.
