Overview

Antigua surprises with the strength of its colonial ruins and the imposing presence of the volcanoes that surround it. From the first moment, its streets reveal centuries of history, traces of the passage of time and scenes of daily life that are still active today.

During this experience we will get to know different spaces that allow us to understand the past and the daily life of the city. Through streets, squares and old buildings, we will see how colonial history is still present in today's environment.
The tour includes some of the most representative points, such as the Arch of Santa Catalina, one of the most recognized symbols of the place and a key point to appreciate the volcanic landscape. We will continue to the San José Cathedral and La Merced Church, whose walls reflect the religious and social importance of the colonial era.

We will also visit old convent complexes transformed with the passing of time, where gardens, museums and ruined areas show different stages of the past.

Get to know Antigua hand in hand with local people who share historical information and recommendations for further exploration of the city and its gastronomic offerings.
