On arrival

The fountain in the center of Central Plaza—that’s the Mermaid Fountain—will have a guide waiting there with a sign that says “Walking Tour,” and he’ll be wearing a red button on his shirt with his name on it.

If for any reason you can’t attend the tour, you must cancel your reservation so the guide isn’t kept waiting.

Things to note

Bring water, appropriate clothing for entering the church, sunglasses, and a hat or cap.

How can the tour be free?

Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to €50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.

Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
