Our journey begins at the historic House of Wonders and the Old Fort, where you will learn about the sultans and the colonial past of Zanzibar. We will walk through the bustling Darajani Market to experience the local lively atmosphere, fresh spices, and tropical fruits.
You will also visit the emotional site of the Former Slave Market and the Anglican Cathedral to understand the poignant history of East African slave trade. As we wander, you will see the beautifully carved Zanzibar doors and visit Tippu Tip’s House. The tour concludes at the scenic Forodhani Gardens, perfect for capturing pictures.
