Overview of the tour in Vigo

Discover how a small, barely inhabited village in Galicia became a fashionable thermal destination at the beginning of the 20th century, famous not only nationally but also internationally.

A town that barely had communications and became a meeting point for great personalities of the time such as Emilia Pardo Bazán, Ramón Cabanillas, Castelao, Pérez Galdós, or royalty such as Alfonso XIII, the Infanta Isabel, or Rockefeller III himself. And all this in just 30 years. In that short space of time, it was not only equipped with a complete thermal center with the latest advances of its time but also with all the necessary infrastructure for the comfort of its visitors, surpassing the chilling capacity of 1,500 guests in its time and giving fruit to the birth of the smallest municipality of the peninsula with barely 2.4 km².

But how and who discovered what is still considered the best water in the world today? How and who has created this oasis for thermal tourism? We will discover all of this during our visit to the specific points of interest, telling you what it was like and how it has evolved until today.

That yes, relaxed that for that we are in a thermal villa.
