Overview of the tour in Vigo

You will learn about the history of Vigo, its culture and the most curious facts of a vibrant city.

After a few minutes of practice with the ebikes we will enter the Nautical where we can enjoy the views of the coast of Vigo to the area of the tribute to the Galician emigration. There, through the story of "Dolores" we will be able to know a testimony of what happened in Galicia between the end of the XIX century and the beginning of the XX century.

We will ascend to enter the Casco Vello to the "Pedra" square. The story of "Jose" will help us to illustrate the daily life of a family in the middle of the 20th century. Whenever possible we will visit the house museum of Antonio, the last cesteiro of Vigo.

We will start ascending to the Castro Park where we will visit the wonderful Castrexo settlement and analyze its interaction with the Roman world. We will climb to the top of the park to enjoy the scenic beauty of the Vigo estuary. There we will know the most important characteristics of the Bateas and we will remember the Battle of Rande.

Finally, we will walk along part of the Greenway and enjoy the views from one of its balconies over the Ría de Vigo.
