Tokyo: Mt. Fuji Cruise & Hakone Ropeway Day Trip by Bus
Overview
First, we board the Pirate Ship Cruise. As the boat glides across the lake, you’ll be surrounded by calm blue waters and mountains , a picture-perfect landscape. Next, we take the ropeway to an active volcanic valley. The scent of sulfur in the air and the white steam shooting from the rugged ground create a surreal, other-worldly atmosphere. We'll also visit Hakone Shrine, founded around 1,260 years ago during the Nara period.
Known as a guardian of traffic safety and good fortune, the shrine is surrounded by giant cedar trees and a serene, sacred atmosphere.
The iconic red torii gate, the “Gate of Peace” standing in Lake Ashi is a photo spot. Your guide will also explain Shinto beliefs and proper shrine etiquette.
Finally, we’ll take you to a hidden gem — a secret viewing spot known only by locals, where you can enjoy one of the most breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji.
If it rains, we will head to Gotemba Premium Outlets, one of the largest shopping outlets in Japan — a great alternative with plenty of indoor activities. ※Please note that the itinerary may change depending on weather conditions.
