Free Asakusa Walking Tour - Sensoji Temple & Tokyo Skytree
Overview
Then we'll finish at Tokyo Skytree, a good contrast after centuries-old Asakusa.
This activity includes:
- Sensō-ji
- Tokyo Skytree
- Sumida River Walk
- Nakamise-dori Street
On arrival
We'll meet at Asakusa Station (Main Exit/正面口 – right under the MATSUYA logo) at your selected meetup time and start the tour from there. Please arrive 15 minutes before the starting time. We'll also be eating during the tour, as I'll be recommending some great local Japanese food spots along the way — so please don't eat too much beforehand.
Things to note
• Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, as this tour covers Sensō-ji, Nakamise Shopping Street, Sumida River Walk, and Tokyo Skytree on foot.
• Please dress for the weather, as most of the tour is outdoors.
• Bring some cash — certain local food shops and small vendors may not accept cards.
• Please come with a light appetite, as food stops are included along the way.
• Feel free to bring a camera — there will be great photo opportunities at Sensō-ji and Tokyo Skytree.
