Overview
At the appointed time we will meet at Okachimachi Station to begin this tour of Ueno and Ameyayokocho Alley.
We will start by walking through Ameyayokocho, a lively street market with a variety of shops, from clothing to food. In addition to visiting the curious temple Marishiten Tokudai-ji, hidden among the alleys of the market. It is a spectacular contrast!
Throughout the tour, we will enjoy the local atmosphere as we enter the picturesque streets of this neighborhood, rich in history. Did you know that the Ueno neighborhood was a place of resistance of the last samurai fighting against the imperial troops?
Finally, two hours later, we will say goodbye at Ueno Station, where you can enjoy the traditional atmosphere of Ueno Park on your own.
