Overview
We will meet at the Electric Town exit of JR Akihabara station in front of the iconic Radio Kaikan building, from here we will enter the heart of Tokyo's otaku culture. Electric Town was the paradise of technology and now it is the paradise of anime. Here you can find streets full of stores specializing in electronics, video games, anime and manga, the perfect place to discover the latest trends in the Otaku world!
Next, we will walk to the old Manseibashi station, a place with a lot of history that has been restored and transformed into a cultural space with cafes and stores. It is the ideal place to take pictures and enjoy a unique view of the city.
We will end our free tour of Akihabara at the Kanda Myojin Shrine, an important Shinto shrine with a special connection to technology and the otaku community. Here we will learn more about Japanese traditions, and see the peculiar offerings of visitors.
Two hours later, we will end the free tour in the shrine area - see you in Akihabara!
