Anime & Retro Tokyo: Nakano Broadway Free Tour
Overview
Most of the tour takes place indoors, so you can enjoy it comfortably even on hot, cold, or rainy days. After diving into Japan’s pop culture scene, we’ll take you through Nakano’s retro alleyways and lively izakaya district, a taste of old Tokyo that tourists rarely get to see.
This activity includes:
- Nakano Broadway
- Nakano Station North Entrance Square
On arrival
We will meet at the North Exit of Nakano Station.
Your guide will be waiting with a sign that says "Real Tokyo Vibes."
Things to note
Please Read Carefully Before Booking
Please make sure you can definitely attend before booking the tour.
We kindly ask you to refrain from booking if your schedule is still uncertain,
such as bookings made more than two months in advance or on your arrival day in Japan.
Last-minute cancellations and no-shows have a serious impact on tour preparation and operation.
If you must cancel, please be sure to inform us at least one day in advance.
Please arrive at the meeting point at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time.
If you are significantly late, you may not be able to join the tour.
To provide a warm and welcoming experience, volunteer assistants may occasionally join the tour.
If you enjoy the tour and wish to leave a tip, a tip for one guide only is more than sufficient.
The tour is conducted mainly indoors and will take place rain or shine.
Any food or drinks during the tour are at your own expense.
How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to €50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
Free Cancellation
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
