Singapore Uncut Tour
Overview
Those scenes were precious. Called 'Uncut', they offered peeks of fun or unsavory sights of how some blockbuster films were made.
On this walk, we take you behind the scenes, where there are no rose-tinted lenses, we share Singapore as it is. At least of whatever that is left.
Along Jalan Besar or ‘Big Road’ (in English), on the fringe of the city centre, of exceptional convenience for vices to thrive, we head off into back-alleys to view the Uncut version of our city-state.
However, increasingly, it is also a destination for the cool, the fancy, the hip, and in no time at all the new will soon envelope its intangible cultural edges. A step too late and there’ll be no bling to peel, no hints of the industries that shun the limelight, those pages to turn and expose its underbelly goes crusty.
We’re still ahead of time, but barely. Join us, put on this blockbuster DVD and enjoy the "show" we have curated for you.

On arrival
We meet at Farrer PARK MRT station’s Exit H - Above Ground. The station is on the NORTH-EAST line that is coloured in purple.
For those arriving on MRT (subway), look out for signages overhead directing to Exit H. When in doubt, check with the station master at the control station.
Head up the escalator at Exit H, and there’ll be ledges for sitting, and we’re right there waiting for you.
For friends arriving on private hire vehicles (Taxi, GRAB, and sorry UBER isn’t available), instruct the driver or in-app to head to CITY SQUARE MALL.
Head up to the ground floor when you reach the mall, and head to TOAST BOX (cafe).
Peer out of the glass walls into a garden-like park, identify a white coloured Entrance Arch straight at the other end of the park.
Exit H is located just beside the arch.
Things to note
Dress lightly and it’ll really be comfortable a walk.
Carry your own water bottle and umbrella.
