Incredible Views of Rio - Hiking Tour
Overview of the tour in Rio de Janeiro
To begin we will hike for 1 hour from Guaratiba to the beautiful hidden beach of Praia do Meio. The view along the trail is amazing, you will discover islands, long costal views with mountains, the famous Turtle Rock, and the richness of our green forest.
The trail to the beach requires resistance and some parts are a little steep, but no great difficulties. The adventure comes on the last part of the trail that takes us to the beach, where you will have to use a rope to descend. Once we arrive at the beach we will relax for 30 minutes with an opportunity to swim, have a snack and enjoy the paradise.
After the beach it´s time to visit one of the most stunning views in Rio from the Telegrafo rock. We will hike through the rain forest for 1 hour and arrive at this breathtaking view point. We will stay there for upto 30 minutes allowing time to take in the spectacular peak, after which we will begin our 30 minute descent back to Guaratiba.
To finish the experience the option to have some refreshments and Brazilian snacks, in the fishermen´s village is possible if desired, before we hit the road back to the meeting point.

On arrival
We will meet at the Jardim Oceânico Metro Station at Barra da Tijuca.
Once you arrive at this metro station you must leave via ACESS B - Exit Sea Access, and I will be waiting for you between the paper kiosk and the Circle Sculpture.
From there we will drive to Guaratiba Beach from where our adventure begins.
