Free Food Tour in Quito's Historic Center
Overview
Our meeting point will be at Garcia Moreno Park, in front of the Basilica del Voto Nacional. After this, we will visit one of the popular markets of the city, where we will learn about a rare and interesting drink for the city, "agua de hierro" (iron water). After this, we will go to taste Ecuadorian ceviche, with spectacular flavors.
After tasting that dish from the coast of Ecuador, our next dish will be one from the highlands. We will taste cevichocho, highland ceviche made from grains from the Ecuadorian Andes. After tasting cevichocho, we will go to the Central Market to learn and taste Ecuadorian fruits and natural juices.
This activity includes:
- Mercado Central
- Huma Chocolate and coffee Experience
