Overview
Live a vertical experience in the first World Heritage Site. This tour is designed for those seeking a different perspective of Quito's colonial center, accessing terraces and domes that few get to visit.
Historical Beginning: We meet at the emblematic Casa del Marques. You will recognize me by my hat and National Guide credential.
Plaza Grande from the Cultural Center: We will start at the terrace of the Metropolitan Cultural Center to understand the distribution and political power of the city.
Domes of La Compañía: We will ascend to the top of the Church of La Compañía de Jesús to admire its baroque architecture and panoramic views.
Colonial Balconies and 360° Views: We will enjoy a privileged view of the Plaza de San Francisco from the Cocholate restaurant, and then go up to Origen Rooftop, a hidden terrace with a full view of the city.
History and Tradition: We will visit the old San Juan de Dios Hospital and its view of the famous Virgen del Panecillo.
Sweet End: We will finish at the Dulce Jesús Mío ice cream parlor, famous for its exotic flavors that rescue the Quiteño tradition.
