Overview
Quito's old Town is a gem for its colonial times well-preserved architechture. It's also famous for the high quality and uniqueness of their handicraft shops, handicrafts made with local materials and reflecting deep roots on it's andean, pre-spanish culture. On top of that Ecuador is the place where the first archeological findings of cacao(chocolate) consumption in the world were found.
