Free Tour Eiffel Tower & Arc de Triomphe
Overview
We will start on the Champs Elysées, one of the most beautiful avenues in the world, and head to the Arc de Triomphe, commissioned by Napoleon, where you will learn about its history and the inscriptions on its walls.
The tour will also take you through luxurious streets, revealing the origins of brands such as Yves Saint Laurent and Louis Vuitton, and buildings that link luxury and history, such as the Prince of Wales Hotel. You will also discover the tragic story behind the Alma Bridge and the Flame of Liberty.
During the walk, we will enjoy the views along the Seine River, and learn about Parisian art through places like the Palais de Tokyo or the Galliera Museum.
The tour culminates at the Trocadero esplanade, with a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower. Here, you will discover its secrets and history, take spectacular photos and receive tips on how to visit it - an unforgettable experience in the French capital!

On arrival
Meeting point: Next to the door of the Cartier boutique on Champs Elysées (nearby metro lines: 1, 2, 6 and A). Look for a blue-green flag with the name Strolling through Europe.
End point: Trocadero Esplanade.
Things to note
- Please arrive 15 minutes in advance so that the tour can begin at the scheduled time.
- Show the guide, at the meeting point, the booking confirmation email, either printed or by cell phone or tablet.
- Our guides will be identified with a teal flag with the company logo: Walking in Europe.
- what is a free tour? Free comes from the concept "free", that is, it is an urban tour with qualified guides in which you are free to put the price you want to the tour once finished, depending on your degree of satisfaction and budget.
- Reservations for groups of more than 6 adults have to pay 8 euros per adult, and the maximum allowed is 3 children per adult.
- If your group is more than 6 adults, and you have made several reservations under different names, but all for the same group, you will have to pay 8 euros per adult. Otherwise, we will not be able to accept you on the tour and the guide may ask you to leave the tour.

How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to $50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
Free Cancellation
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
