Whether it's your first or fifth time in Paris, this tour is the perfect introduction to the city.
We're a small team of passionate Parisians who created this Paris Time Machine to take you one street away from the crowds, into the heart of the city!
This is a walking tour, not a standing lecture! The tour is carefully paced to keep you engaged from start to finish.
We'll take you where others don't go. This tour combines Paris's iconic sights with the places most visitors never discover:
- Cannonball and bullet marks still visible on the walls
- Kings, emperors, revolutionaries, and WWII resistance fighters who shaped Paris
- Beautiful churches, hidden gardens, and medieval houses
- Street art is everywhere in Le Marais!
We'll share our favourite spots:

Our Guides
On arrival
Look for the green umbrella.
You can find the guide in two ways:
- Face the main entrance of the city hall (a large open square with plants on both sides and flags on the façade). The guide will be waiting on the left side of the main façade.
- By metro: Hôtel de Ville station, exit 5.
The guide arrives approximately 15 minutes before the tour starts. You are welcome to arrive a little earlier.
Things to note
If your plans change (rain, change of mind, etc.), please let us know as early as possible.
No-shows prevent other travelers from joining. Telling in advance is greatly appreciated so we can release your spot or reschedule you for another day.
Cancellation policy
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
