During this exterior-only tour, we’ll explore how the cathedral was built, how it changed over the centuries, and the dramatic events that shaped its history, including the famous 2019 fire.
Perfect for anyone who wants to go beyond simply taking a photo and truly understand the history, architecture, and evolution of Notre-Dame.
Please note: this tour takes place entirely outside the cathedral and does not include an interior visit.

We’ll meet at the exit of Cité metro station.
Things to note
Notre-Dame is one of the most visited places in Paris, so please be prepared for large crowds, especially during peak hours. The area can get very busy.
This is an exterior-only tour. We will not enter the cathedral.
Please wear comfortable shoes, as the tour involves walking and standing.
If you change your plans and can no longer join the tour, please let me know as soon as possible. This allows me to offer your spot to other travelers.
Please arrive 5–10 minutes before the starting time so we can begin the tour on time.
