We'll explore three layers of Oaxaca:
• Pre-Hispanic grandeur
• Colonial majesty carved in green stone
• Contemporary art as cultural resistance
We'll visit the same iconic spots (Santo Domingo, Andador Turístico, Teatro Macedonio Alcalá), but I'll tell you the stories that don't make it into typical guides: political art, hidden resistance in stone, and the fight to preserve Oaxaca's soul.

• Subterráneos– An underground print gallery where art is a political weapon
• Santo Domingo – Baroque gold meets green stone. The church that helped fund an empire
• Graphic Arts Institute – The legacy of Francisco Toledo and how he stopped McDonald's from touching Oaxaca
• Manuel Álvarez Bravo Photo Center – A colonial patio hosting powerful photography
• San Pablo Cultural Center – Three eras in one courtyard: Zapotec ruins, a Dominican convent, and contemporary art
• Teatro Macedonio Alcalá – Oaxaca's most iconic theater and its French historical influence.
