Overview
We will start from the "Neapolisolare" green point located on the ancient Spaccanapoli to reach the coastline.
We will visit Piazza del Municipio and Castel Nuovo; continue to the famous Piazza del Plebiscito to admire the site of the Royal Palace and the Royal Theater of San Carlo. Then to the sea along the bike path to Borgo Marinaro, Castel dell'Ovo (12th century) and Monte Echia, the original site of the city's foundation (Partenope). We will narrate legends related to the myth of Parthenope and Virgil's egg. Along the coast we will have Vesuvius and the islands ( Capri, Ischia and Procida) as our backdrop. Then we will take to the hill of Posillipo and the "Virgiliano" Natural Park. We will enjoy the fantastic view from the top of the Gulf of Naples in front of the beautiful peninsula of Nisida, the area of "Campi Flegrei" and the hill of Camaldoli. It will be particularly impressive from here to see the former industrial area of Bagnoli with the italsider steel plant, now the largest industrial archaeology site in Europe. Finally, we will return to the city center via the Spanish quarters to Spaccanapoli.

Neapolisolare is our starting point located in the heart of the historic city center just a few steps from the central Piazza del Gesù. From the Central Station and other points in the city it is easily accessible by taking Metro 1 and stopping at Dante station. From Dante station a few minutes walk and you will be at our place.
