Overview
On this tour, you’ll learn about the history of this area dating back to ancient times, as well as the origins of its streets, houses, and community.
Through my research, I’ve identified over 70 cultural and social landmarks within a kilometer of La Bombilla Park, so I can tailor the tour to your specific interests and preferences.
I have access to documentary sources as well as family accounts and testimonies from other neighbors.
Additionally, by joining me, you’ll help me fund my scholarship to France as a cultural ambassador for Mexico.
I speak Spanish and hold certificates in French and intermediate English.
This isn’t just a tour; it’s a journey through the corners of my family’s memory. Discover Chimalistac and its surroundings through the eyes of one of its residents—the true story of this place.

Our Guides
On arrival
You can take the metro to the Miguel Ángel station, walk along Miguel Ángel Street to the La Bombilla Metrobús stop. Alternatively, you can take Metrobús Line 1 to the La Bombilla station, where you’ll find us in front of the sign and next to the flagpole.
Things to note
The path is paved, but there are also sections of dirt road, so proper footwear is essential. If you’d like to extend your trip, I can recommend a taco shop that offers tacos al pastor for 17 pesos each.
Cancellation policy
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
