Overview
See a bit of everything while walking by a not-so-touristic area of Mexico City! From Aztec ruins to celebrities' houses!
First, we meet at "Monumento a Cuitlahuac," a very accessible location just in the middle of "Paseo de la Reforma" avenue, then we head to Tlatelolco's archeological site, where you will get an explanation of the place, indigenous prehispanic history, and other important events that happened there.
Second, we are going to visit the most underground Rock street market of Mexico, "EL CHOPO", where you will experience firsthand the counterculture and Punk vibes of Mexico! It's also the best place to buy vinyl and CDs from your favorites Rock artists!
Finally, we end our tour with a nice walk through Santa Maria la Ribera, a charming working and middle-class neighborhood with some architectural gems, like "La casa de los perros," a famous house not only for its unique design but also for being the childhood home of the internationally famous actresses and singer: Thalia.
