Cable Car + Urban Art: The largest neighborhood in the city
Overview of the tour in Mexico City
Mexico City is the 5th largest metropolis in the world. On this tour we will visit the eastern part of the city and one of the most populated neighborhoods: Iztapalapa. The neighborhood has 1.8 million inhabitants and is surrounded by a chain of extinct volcanoes.
We will visit a park with an incredible view, as well as discover 3 representative musical rhythms of the area: cumbia, sonidero and urban rock. We will also talk about the way Mexicans lived at the beginning of the 20th century and the growth of the eastern zone, the problems of public services that existed for years and how they were solved, creating a very united community.
