Overview
Run through one of the world’s largest urban parks on this Running Tour of Chapultepec Forest. We’ll meet at the iconic Estela de Luz, a central and easily identifiable landmark on Avenida Paseo de la Reforma, to set off on a roughly 10 km run at a moderate pace.
During the run, we’ll pass through the historic Puerta de los Leones, go past the Altar to the Fatherland, and follow the paths around Chapultepec’s Lago Mayor. We’ll also run alongside the modern Aztlán 360 Ferris wheel and make a brief optional stop at the Chapultepec workout bars, one of the city’s favourite spots for outdoor training.
The route combines nature, history and some of Mexico City’s most iconic sights. We’ll finish back near Reforma, an ideal spot to relax after the run and get recommendations for cafés and places to have breakfast in the area.
