Overview
Itinerary:
10:00 am - We´ll meet at metro station San Andres Tomatlán. Our tour starts charging energy with some street Birria tacos (These are very yummy and super tasty, you are coming with locals)
10:30-10:45 am - We start our walking for about 50 min to the top of "El cerro de la estrella" where we'll find "Huizachtécatl" (Lugar de Huizaches) This was a sacred site where Mexicas celebrated a ceremony of "El Fuego Nuevo (The new fire)" every 52 years to keep the Sun alive.
12:00 pm - We´ll go to the Fuego Nuevo Museum, which has a pyramid shape, and the exhibits include objects from the colonial and ancient eras. Some of the museum's main themes are the explanation of the legend of the five suns, ancient calendars, and the codices and maps of Culhuacan and Iztapalapa from 1580. And of course, the main attraction: The New Fire Ceremony
12:45 - We´ll move to the last stop, a local place where you´ll taste the drink of the Gods: Pulque. We´ll have some time to chill and say "Hasta pronto"
I'll guide you to metro station Cerro de la estrella to finish or tour.
