Coyoacan & Frida Kahlo Free Tour in Mexico City
Overview
Discover the neighborhood where incredible people like Frida and Diego Rivera, as well as the revolutionary Leon Trotsky, lived. We will walk through cobbled streets while we visit religious buildings such as the church of "San Antonio Padua" witness of the North American invasion in 1847. Enter the National Music Library, a space with a colonial touch where the largest reserve of the sounds of Mexico is located.
Then, we will admire the center of Coyoacán, where you will peer into the unique atmosphere and try its delicious cuisine. We will enter a convent whose architecture represents the original religious cloisters with their beautiful courtyards and fountains. Go to the Plaza de la Conchita, one of the first churches of Coyoacan, made in the style of Tecquita. We will finish at Casa Azul, where the last memories of Frida Kahlo are preserved.
