Discover the enchanting Chapultepec Zoo, including the amphibian house where you’ll meet the legendary Mexican axolotls up close! As we move through different parts of the park, I’ll share with you the hidden stories, symbols, and legends that live among the trees and statues.
We’ll also explore Los Pinos, the former presidential residence that has been transformed into a cultural center. Then we’ll head to the Cablebús Line 3, a modern aerial gondola that will give you stunning panoramic views of the city. It’s a unique way to see Mexico City from above, colorful, vast, and full of life.
This tour is ideal for those who enjoy walking, connecting with nature, history, and gaining a local’s perspective on Mexico City’s spirit, all wrapped into a calm yet enriching experience.

On arrival
We will meet at Puerta de los Leones, the main entrance to Chapultepec Park. It is located at the beginning of Paseo de la Reforma, near the Metro station "Chapultepec"* (Line 1, pink line). Once you exit the station, walk toward the large lion statues, which mark the entrance.
Look for me in a pink cap near the lion statues. Please arrive 10 minutes early so we can start on time. If you're lost or running late, feel free to message me!
Things to note
- Please wear comfortable walking shoes.
- Bring sunscreen and a hat, it can get sunny and warm.
- In case of rain, bring an umbrella or raincoat.
- Entrance to the zoo is free.
- For the cable car, you need a transport card. I'll show you how to get it.
