Overview

Discover the magic of Mérida, the white jewel of southern Mexico.

Join us on this free walking tour through the historic center and let yourself be captivated by the city’s art, history, and warm local atmosphere.
We’ll visit Casa Montejo, home of Mérida’s founders, and the Cathedral of San Ildefonso, the first cathedral built in the Americas. Admire the murals inside the Government Palace, stroll past the elegant Porfirian-style Gran Hotel, and explore the Church of Jesús de la Tercera Orden, built using fragments of ancient Mayan temples.

We’ll also discover the José Peón Contreras Theater, which hosted the first Feminist Congress in Latin America, and the Autonomous University of Yucatán, a symbol of local culture and knowledge.

Our tour ends at Parque de Santa Lucía, a lively square filled with music, tradition, and the true spirit of Mérida.
A must-do experience to fall in love with Mérida’s charm and soul.
