Overview of the tour in Yerevan

Discover the medieval monasteries of Hovhanavank, Saghmosavank the Karmravor Chapel, and the Armenian Alphabet Park.
The monastic complexes of Hovhanavank and Saghmosavank are five kilometers apart and are located in the villages of the same name at a short distance from Yerevan about 25 km. Both monuments stand on the edge of the steep gorge of the Kasakh River. Their silhouettes rise above the neighboring villages and rise abruptly against the backdrop of mountains topped by Mount Aragats. Things to note

An enjoyable day trip, the road is short 40 minutes from Yerevan to get there, the Kasakh Gorge is one of the most beautiful corners of Armenia. Possibility of lunch in a pleasant orchard near the monasteries.
