Overview
This tour is not a "standard route" for us – it is something very personal.
We are Antek, Andrew and Robert, a small, local group of licensed city guides from Warsaw. We live and work in the neighborhoods through which we walk on this tour. We not only know the facts but also the stories that linger on houses, courtyards, and street corners – and we tell them in a way that can only be done when you have a genuine relationship with the city.
On this moving walk, we take you through Jewish Warsaw – from the centuries-old Jewish life in the city to the tragic events in the ghetto during World War II. It's about everyday life, loss, courage, and resistance. And about people: well-known names like Korczak or M. Begin.
We start in front of the All Saints Church on Plac Grzybowski, a place where you can still feel Warsaw's Jewish heritage. From there, we go to the (last) Nożyk Synagogue in the city and continue to visible traces of the former ghetto: the longest piece of ghetto wall (Walicow), Ghetto Museum, Haberbusch Brewery, up to Hala Mirowska.
If you are looking for an honest and respectful encounter with the history of this city – then you are in the right place with us.
