Overview of the tour in Valencia

Make your way to the meeting point and greet your local guide.

You will make your way towards the 15th Century Silk Exchange building which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mankind in 1996. Your guide will explain the importance of this landmark during the Spanish Golden Age.

From there you will head towards the Mercado Central, the Modernist masterpiece where you will admire all the local fresh ingredients that arrive to the city. You will continue towards the Plaza Redonda, the circular square surrounded by narrow streets and where you will be able to find all the greatest ceramic handicrafts and souvenirs.

You will continue stopping at the oldest horchateria in town to taste a glass of horchata, a refreshing soft drink made from tiger nuts. End with a panoramic view of the, commonly known as the “Seu”. There if you find it interesting, you will have the chance to discover the inside part of the Cathedral. Admire its mixture of Gothic, Romanesque, Baroque, and Neoclassical elements before walking to Plaza de la Virgen to go inside the stunning Basilica of Our Holy Lady of the Forsaken, the patron Virgin of Valencia.
