Overview
Meet at Sankofa Square, where I'll greet you with a cup of 100% Colombian coffee to energize our march. First round's on me!
What's the plan? We'll time-travel: from the historic St. Lawrence Market (I'll suggest the famous peameal bacon sandwich), to the cobblestones of the Distillery District, the majestic CN Tower, and the underground PATH maze. We'll end with the classic photo at the 'TORONTO' sign.
KEY INFO: Food and drink during strategic stops are at your own expense. I take you to the best spots and suggest local treats, but you decide what and if to buy. Your budget, your rules!
Tour price? Zero stress. It's a Free Tour with our Pay-What-You-Want model. You book FREE, and at the end, you name your price based on your experience. I'll share secret stories, answer all your questions, and show you a Toronto you won't find in guidebooks. Perfect for independent travelers and World Cup 2026 fans. Bring comfortable shoes and curiosity... I'll bring the coffee to start.

Our Guides
On arrival
Located in the heart of Toronto's downtown. If you are using local transit, please follow these instructions:
1. USING THE SUBWAY/METRO/UNDERGROUND (EASIEST WAY!)
Your Goal: Dundas Station (Yonge-University Line)
Meet Spot: SANKOFA SQUARE: Look for the guy with the Colombian flag by the main stage next to the SANKOFA SQUARE sign.
Pro Tip: Use the Transit (TFTO) or Google Maps app for real-time subway times.
Step-by-Step:
Get on any subway heading to TMU Subway Station (Formerly known as Dundas Station on the Yonge-University Line - Line 1).
Get off at the TMU station. Follow signs for "SANKOFA Square" or "Dundas Street East Exit".
Take the escalator up to street level. You'll pop out right beside the square!
Look straight ahead for the big stage and video screens.
Walk toward the main stage sign. I'll be there waving a Colombian flag! You can't miss it!
2. FROM THE STREETCAR/TRAM (COOL VIEWS ALONG THE WAY)
Your Goal: Dundas Street East & Yonge Street stop
Meet Spot: Main stage of the Square, I will be waiving a Colombian flag.
Pro Tip: Streetcars are numbered! You want the 501 Queen or 505 Dundas.
From the WEST end (like Trinity-Bellwoods Park):
Head to Dundas street West and Catch the 505 DUNDAS streetcar going EAST.
Ride until you see the huge square on your right (about 15 mins or more depending where you are coming from in the city or the surrounding areas).
Get off at Yonge Street.
Cross to the square. Find the stage - Colombian flag!
From EAST (like Distillery District):
505 DUNDAS streetcar going WEST.
Get off at Yonge Street.
If you were riding on the 505 DUNDAS streetcar/tram heading west, the square is right there! Head to the stage sign - look for the guy with Colombian flag! If you are riding the street car/tram 504 KING STREET Westbound, get off at Yonge Street and King Street intersection, and then walk north on Yonge Street for about 10 minutes (5 blocks), until you see the big screens, the square is right there, you're right. Come to the stage and - look for the guy with the Colombian flag!
3. BY BUS, WALKING, OR BEING DROPPED OFF
BY BUS: Any bus going to Dundas & Yonge works. Tell the driver "SANKOFA Square OR Yonge-Dundas Square please!" Get off, walk to the main stage.
BY FOOT (You're Nearby!):
Open Google Maps and type "Yonge-Dundas Square Main Stage".
Walk toward the tallest buildings and biggest crowds!
See the massive screens? Head there. Look for the guy with a Colombian flag by the Square name sign next to the main stage!
BEING DROPPED OFF / RIDESHARE (Uber/Lyft/Taxi):
Address to give driver: "SANKOFA Square (or Yonge-Dundas Square), at the corner of Dundas Street East and Victoria Street."
Say this: "Please drop me near the main stage sign at the square."
When you get out, DO NOT cross any streets. Stay on the square side. Walk to the center stage - Look for the guy waving a Colombian flag!
4. COMING FROM DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE CITY
FROM NORTH (like York Mills, Eglinton):
Take the SUBWAY SOUTH on Line 1 to Dundas Station. Exit to square.
OR take the YONGE 97 BUS south to Dundas St. Walk 1 min east to square.
