Overview of the tour in Tbilisi

Departure from Tbilisi early in the morning, heading north, via the Georgian military road that runs between Tbilisi (Georgia) and Vladikavkaz (Russia), 208 km. On the way, there are several interesting destinations to discover: Jinvali reservoir one of the country's most powerful water resources, featuring stunning views around. Next, explore Ananuri fortress, which is an XVI century castle complex on the Aragvi River.
Then, stop on the way at Friendship monument at Gudauri, leading ski resort in Georgia. The resort is located at the altitude 2200 meters above sea level and promises amazing panoramas.
Finally, get to the village of Stepantsminda (at the foot of Mount Kazbegi) and explore Gergeti Trinity church (XII-XIV), a monument located at an altitude of 2170 meters. The Gergeti Trinity Church is the perfect place for a one of a kind photo!
After visiting Gergeti church at Kazbegi, by the same road, we return to Tbilisi full of positive impressions!

Things to note

Note: If you would like to visit Gergeti Trinity monastery, a special 4/4 jeep can be rented in Kazbegi, locally at the spot and the additional cost for renting a car is approx. 20-25 euro for 2 to 6 people. We can arrange that type of service for you.
There is a Dress code in Georgian Orthodox churches and Monasteries. Ladies need a dress and scarves, and men should wear long trousers.
