Overview
Together, we’ll unravel the magic of Georgia’s capital through its cobbled streets, ancient faiths, and "liquid traditions."
Our journey begins at Metekhi Church, the 1,500-year-old birthplace of the city. From there, we’ll glide over the river by cable car to Narikala Fortress for panoramic views and a visit to the iconic Mother Georgia statue.
What We’ll Explore:
We'll cross the futuristic Peace Bridge and visit the fairytale Clock Tower to see where the puppets play.
We’ll wander through narrow streets lined with Tbilisi’s famously colourful, leaning balconies.
We'll step inside the Anchiskhati Basilica (the city’s oldest church) and the grand Sioni Cathedral.
The Spirit of the Feast: Our walk ends at the Tamada statue, where I’ll share how wine and the legendary Georgian feast define our history.
A Little Something Extra:
I want you to love this city as much as I do! I’ll wrap up our walk by sharing my favourite local spots to eat.
Good to Know:
Duration: About 2.5 hours.
Comfort: Please wear comfortable walking shoes!
Note: The cable car fee (5 GEL total) is not included. Please bring cash, as station card machines can be unreliable.
