Along the way, we will stop to visit the masterpiece of Early Christian architecture - Jvari Monastery (6th AD), which is the first Orthodox Church in Georgia. From the church hill, you will see two rivers intersect and form a delta.
Walk along the narrow streets of Mtskheta capturing the spectacular buildings at every corner. Then head to the amazing Svetitskhoveli Cathedral which is known as a place where Christ’s robe was buried. After that, we will see allure Uplistsikhe (6th BC), an ancient rock-hewn town, with the ancient settlement and city center in the Caucasus. Uplistsikhe and its surrounding are a group of great archaeological and architectural monuments, the oldest of which dates back to the early Bronze Age, and are considered to be relics of the Kura-Araxes culture.
