Overview

Step into the heart of Tallinn and discover a city where medieval history meets modern innovation.

Join us for a relaxed walking tour through Tallinn's UNESCO-listed Old Town and uncover the stories, legends, and characters that shaped Estonia's capital. Wander through medieval streets and historic squares while learning how Tallinn grew from a Hanseatic trading city into the vibrant capital you see today.

We will explore some of Tallinn's most fascinating landmarks, including Viru Gate, Town Hall Square, St. Catherine's Passage, the medieval city walls, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Toompea Castle, the Danish King's Garden and Toompea Hill. We will also visit viewpoints offering beautiful views over the Old Town's red rooftops and towers. Along the way, you'll hear stories about medieval merchants, knights, kings, local traditions, foreign rule, Soviet-era Estonia and the country's journey to independence.

But Tallinn's story doesn't end in the Middle Ages. We will also look at how Estonia transformed into one of Europe's most digitally advanced societies.
