Taichung Historic Downtown Free Tour
Overview
Following, you will find out that the hard-working people on the herbal street and Jiguang street still live in the old-time memories. They smile and shout for the old skills and methods in order to protect those losing stories.
Next, the tour will take you to two totally different ice cream shops, one with Taiwan local shaved ice (Mitsumame) and the other one with over 70 flavours of ice cream (Fourth Credit cooperative bank). Finally, stop at the DRF Goodot Village, a co-working space with many organizations committed to promoting the central district of Taichung.

Things to note
1. Our meeting point is located at Feng Chia University (Face to the main gate, left side), and we will start the tour promptly, so please be on time.
2. Rain or shine, our tour will operate as scheduled.
3. Our tour is designed to cater to solo travelers, couples, small groups, and families. However, please note that we do not accept reservations for large groups.
4. Please be aware that the tour will be conducted in English/Mandarin.
5. Our tours are led by professional & trained guides, who are dedicated to providing you with an excellent experience. It's important to note that our tours are free to book and join. However, as our guides rely on this job to make a living, we kindly suggest considering a tip to show your appreciation for their services. This will also help us maintain a moderate-sized group for your comfort.

How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to €50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
Free Cancellation
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
