Overview
Leave the old town and join me on my tour of the popular and lovely Södermalm. A part of Stockholm rich with history. Starting at Slussen, we’ll learn about the Katarina elevator, the Stomatol sign, Götgatan, Mosebacke, the Katarina church, Mäster Mikaels gränd, Fjällgatan, Sophia Church, Nytorget, and more. The length of the tour is 4-5 km, with short stops every now and then. The tour takes around 2 hours. Throughout the tour, I will show old photos and pictures to make the tour more enjoyable and understandable.
Enjoy breathtaking views of Stockholm as we walk. Along the way, I'll share the rich history of this part of Södermalm, showcasing some of its attractions and charming houses.

On arrival
We will meet ABOVE the stairs that lead down to the Stockholm Stadsmuseum, Ryssgården. You will find the meeting point next to the entrance to Slussen underground station (the entrance closest to Old Town). I will show you a sign saying "Freetour Göran Eriksson." See you there!

Comfortable shoes are recommended. The tour will take approximately 2 hours with stops, and the distance is around 5 km.
