Immerse yourself in Stockholm's Old Town and discover 700 years of history, scandal and survival. This 2.5-hour guided walking tour takes you through Gamla Stan's most iconic landmarks - the Royal Palace, Riddarhuset, Stortorget and the Parliament.
We'll begin our tour in the center of Riddarholmen Island, next to the statue of Birger Jarl, and then delve into stories and nooks and crannies that most visitors don't know about: a bloody royal battle, a mysteriously narrow alley, Viking-era runes hidden in a wall, and the unlikely rise of a French soldier to the Swedish throne.
During the tour, your guide will give you a broader view of Stockholm as it is today: its unique neighborhoods, its culture and contrasts, the way of life of its inhabitants and the little details that make this city unique in the world.
