Explore Split through the Eyes of a Local
Overview
We’ll explore all the key landmarks: the majestic Peristil, the ancient Diocletian’s Palace, Jupiter’s Temple, the Golden Gate, the iconic statue of Grgur Ninski, the hidden corners of the Old Town, and the scenic Riva and West Bank promenade. We’ll also stop by some of my personal favorite spots, places off the typical tourist radar, known mostly to locals (and now to you!).
My goal is to blend must-see history with a lived-in perspective. Depending on the group’s vibe and interests, we can dive deeper into Split’s culture, sports scene, politics, or even a few funny and unexpected local legends.
Having studied in Dubrovnik and Lisbon, and traveled all across Europe, I’ve joined more walking tours than I can count, and now I bring all that experience into one relaxed, engaging, and photo-friendly stroll through my hometown.

Our Guides
On arrival
We’ll meet right at the beginning of Riva promenade, where we have Model of Dioclecian's Palace. It's 30-40m down the street from big red “Split”, you can't miss it! I’ll be the one in the oversized white shirt, green sunglasses, and trusty Birkenstocks. To make things even easier, I’ll send you a photo of my exact spot before the tour starts. Just look out for the guy who looks like he really loves his city (because I do)!
Things to note
Whether you're the only one signed up or part of a bigger group, the tour is always on. I’ll be there to show you around! I usually keep the groups small so it feels more personal, and so I don’t have to yell over the city noise. That way, you get the real vibe of Split, up close and relaxed.
Free walking tours don’t have a fixed price. Instead, you’re welcome to tip at the end based on how much you enjoyed the experience and what you feel it was worth.
